The brass quintet SomBrass was conceived at the Master-class of the Chestnut Brass Company, held during the 32nd Winter Festival of Campos do Jordão (jul/2001). From this event the quintet directed the work to the improvement of the cameristic practice, incorporating with the same subtlety the popular language.
